Biblical Faith Summary 3

Overcoming requires the divine participation of the living God…which is the whole point…to create a context for a personal relationship of trust and friendship to develop…with the eternal King and Ruler of the realm.

This is the antidote to the disastrous and destructive affair non-divine human beings launched out into…when we hastily and impulsively ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden…without giving God the opportunity to act in our lives in His role as God and King.

Not only is this identification of the gap divinely engineered into each and every narrative story of faith in the Bible a compelling apologetic argument for the divine origin of the Bible…but it may also serve as a key to open up more understanding on the interpretation of end-times biblical prophecy…the last point to be covered in this book.

A pretribulation rapture of the Christian church…contains no such gap…no space…no displacement in time for a final lesson-plan traversing through the exercise of biblical faith from point A to point B…vertically up the graph-line of goodness and light from worldly conventional normalcy and occupy till I come…into the supernatural zone of a God-composed adventure of faith.

The rapture of the Christian church before the start of the great tribulation has no God-composed ground to make-up…to recover…that requires biblical faith in Him to resolve an issue, problem, or promise that we cannot resolve on our own.

During the rapture…every Spirit-born Christian will be translated and taken-up in the twinkling of an eye…with no time elapsing for any other faith-generating experience to occur.  The central qualification for participating in the rapture is possessing saving faith in Christ…a glorious achievement in and of itself (Lk. 15:7).

By definition, therefore, the instantaneous rapture is not the same thing as a walk of faith following God…having the element of dependence…of having biblical faith spread out over time…of having “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”…of having 1 Corinthians 2:6-12 being downloaded to us by God through actual events and circumstances played out to their fullest extent over time.

An instantaneous rapture of all Christians before the start of the great tribulation…or contrarily the Christian church going through some portion of this tribulation to create the gap or space to experience biblical faith on a universal basis for every Spirit-born Christian on earth…at the close of human redemptive history (Joel 2:28-29)…this may be one explanation why this new insight into biblical faith…as old and as fundamentally orthodox as can be…is now being articulated in clear language.

The message of the cross…God displacing our ways with His ways (Lk. 22:42)…contained within every biblical narrative story of faith…clarifies God-composed journeys of faith for every new covenant Christian believer today.  This concept explains the God-acknowledged and recognized gap between what we can do within occupy till I come and what we cannot possibly imagine, invent, or contrive…totally outside of our sovereign control…in a biblical-quality adventure of faith following Jesus Christ…a supernatural entity composed within the mind and heart of God.

I have four books published by McGraw-Hill on housing construction (1995-98) under Bart Jahn, and have six Christian books self-published through Create Space KDP. I have a bachelor of science degree in construction management from California State University Long Beach. I grew up in Southern California, was an avid surfer, and am fortunate enough to have always lived within one mile of the ocean. I discovered writing at the age of 30, and it is now one of my favorite activities. I am currently working on two more books on building construction.
